Watchnight Service

Please join us for a time of worship, testimony, & fellowship with our friends from Back Swamp Community Church beginning at 9:00 pm. All are warmly welcomed. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.

What is a Watchnight service? Read below to learn more.

Watchnight services tap into the PFWB denomination’s Wesleyan roots. While older examples may be found, John Wesley instituted Watchnight services in 1740 as an opportunity for Christians to gather to honor the faithfulness of God through worship, testimony, & prayer. Sometimes called Covenant Renewal Services, these corporate celebrations offered a time of reflection on the sovereign goodness of God. Indeed, reflecting on God’s merciful providence during the past year instills holy hope for the year to come.

These services are longer than average weekly worship services and are late at night. To that end, we encourage you to not only come, but dress comfortably.

Church Christmas Supper

Join us for our annual Church Christmas Supper as we celebrate another year of God's faithfulness & the birth of our Savior & Lord.

Menu consists of steak, baked potato with fixin's, salad bar, dessert, bread, & drink.  Tickets are used to ensure enough food is prepared, with a suggested donation of $10 per ticket.  See Krista Horne for details.
