THIS MORNING: Gospel Foundations, Vol. 4 Begins

Volume 4 will comprise our last Old Testament sessions; from 2 Kings through Malachi, we’ll continue to see the arc of all of history bow toward the incarnation of the Son of God, the Redeemer of our souls.

New Bible Study Series
On January 9, we’ll begin a new Bible Study series that you will not want to miss. Detours: The Unpredictable Path to Your Destiny is a study of the life of Joseph by Dr. Tony Evans.
The biblical account of Joseph clearly demonstrates that God is at work even when life seems to be going wrong. Even today, it's easy to wonder why God would allow calamity to happen or if He's in control at all. Whether through uncontrollable circumstances or the pain of personal relationships, everyone has experienced unforeseen changes in life. This study helps believers navigate detours that may take you through trials, injustice, and even betrayal. You will be comforted and encouraged when you learn to rest in God's redemptive plan and the hope found in God's sovereign will.

Coming Soon: Watch Night Service

What is a Watch Night service?
Watch Night services tap into the PFWB denomination’s Wesleyan roots. While older examples may be found, John Wesley instituted Watch Night services in 1740 as an opportunity for Christians to gather to honor the faithfulness of God through worship, testimony, & prayer. Sometimes called Covenant Renewal Services, these corporate celebrations offered a time of reflection on the sovereign goodness of God. Indeed, reflecting on God’s merciful providence during the past year instills holy hope for the year to come.
These services are longer than average weekly worship services and are late at night. To that end, we encourage you to not only come, but dress comfortably.

Day 24, Merry Christmas
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder,
and His name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
(Isaiah 9:6).
