Congratulations, Noah & Timmy!!

Springfield PFWB Church could not be prouder of Noah Gurganus & Timmy DeRossett who each earned special recognition during this year’s NC Senior Beta Convention in Greensboro, NC.

Noah was awarded second place in Woodworking Division II with his motorized wind mill, pictured below. Timmy was elected NC Senior Beta Vice President, which required a winning speech in front of an audience of approximately 2,500 people. Scroll below to see brief videos of his speech & acceptance.

Youth are so often referred to as “the Church of tomorrow,” but these men remind us that our youngest members are leading today when given the opportunity. Our church family is thankful for young men like Noah & Timmy who acknowledge the foundation of faith on which they stand & use their talents for the glory of God.

Shout Out! Kacey Humphrey

Talk about having brains to spare!

Congratulations to Kacey who not only progressed to her final clinical placement in preparation for her Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification, but also scored a perfect 100 on her final exam!  Kacey has studied hard and worked harder to prepare for this next chapter in her life and we couldn't be prouder.

Shout Out! Chloe Bryan

She's an All-Star!

Our very own Chloe Bug was selected to play catcher for the Richlands All-Stars softball team!  Chloe's team competed strongly against travel ball clubs who play together year-round and are advancing to the state tournaments.  Further, her team was awarded this season's Sportsmanship Award.  We are beyond proud of Chloe's athletic success & are pulling for #19 all the way!
