Join us tomorrow for our annual Shopping Shindig, when we’ll buy Christmas gifts for our special neighbors. We’ll start with breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Jacksonville and knock out our largest shopping trip of the year (other than the big school supply purchase each August). All ladies are warmly welcome to join the fun and fellowship, whether you regularly participate in Ladies’ Auxiliary or not.

Springfield PFWB Church is excited to welcome The Browns from Wallace, NC as featured ministers for this year’s Watch Night service. Please join us for a time of worship, testimony, & fellowship beginning at 9:00 pm. All are warmly welcomed. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.
What is a Watch Night service?
Watch Night services tap into the PFWB denomination’s Wesleyan roots. While older examples may be found, John Wesley instituted Watch Night services in 1740 as an opportunity for Christians to gather to honor the faithfulness of God through worship, testimony, & prayer. Sometimes called Covenant Renewal Services, these corporate celebrations offered a time of reflection on the sovereign goodness of God. Indeed, reflecting on God’s merciful providence during the past year instills holy hope for the year to come.
These services are longer than average weekly worship services and are late at night. To that end, we encourage you to not only come, but dress comfortably.
